Cookie Policy
How we use cookies to improve your experience
What this website stores
This overview is about learnwith.news, the site you are reading. The Goss apps are described further down and in the Privacy Policy.
Necessary — always on. Your answer in the cookie notice is saved in your browser under the key cookie-consent in localStorage. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us, and it has no expiry: it stays until you change your answer or clear your browser data. We keep it so that the notice does not ask again, which is why it is exempt from consent under § 25(2) TDDDG, the German implementation of Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
Optional analytics — currently inactive. This website loads no analytics, advertising or social media tracker and sets no tracking cookie. If we add one, it stays off until you accept it, and this overview will name the provider, the purpose and the storage period before it goes live.
Our host. The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA). Cloudflare may set technically necessary security cookies to protect against bots and attacks, and processes your IP address for that purpose; transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses. These cookies cannot be switched off through the notice.
What we do not do. No profiling, no cross-website tracking, no advertising, no sale of personal data.
Your choice. You can change or withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” control in the footer of every page, or by deleting cookie-consent in your browser.
This document informs Users about the technologies that help this Application to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Owner to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on a User’s device as they interact with Goss (the “Application”).
For simplicity, all such technologies are defined as “Trackers” within this document – unless there is a reason to differentiate. For example, while Cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile apps as they are a browser-based Tracker. For this reason, within this document, the term Cookies is only used where it is specifically meant to indicate that particular type of Tracker.
Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may also require the User’s consent. Whenever consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.
This Application uses Trackers managed directly by the Owner (“first-party” Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by third parties (“third-party” Trackers). Unless otherwise specified, third-party providers may access the Trackers managed by them.
The validity and expiration periods of Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on the lifetime set by the Owner or the relevant provider. Some expire upon termination of the User’s browsing session.
Users may find more precise and updated information regarding lifetime specifications and other relevant information in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers or by contacting the Owner.
